In September 2026, two moose created a stir in Tay Township after being spotted wandering through local streets, residential yards, and even near the schoolyard of St. Antoine Catholic School in Victoria Harbour. The unusual visits sparked significant local excitement and social media attention as residents reported sightings along Robins Point Road, Park Street, Albert Street, and near Highway 12.
